I am the first-born daughter to two incredible immigrant parents and the older sister to one (very annoying) high-school aged younger brother.
I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying computer science with a huge passion for all things emerging technology.
I have worked with various different startups (both nationally and internationally), in the FinTech space, and in the education and career preparation fields.
I love working with and ulifting younger generations and love any and all opportunities to provide mentorship and support the growth of the next generation (especially my fellow young black women.)

I am half Haitian and Half Jamaican so needless to say caribbean culture plays a huge role in every element of my life from the foods I eat to the values I uphold.
Despite the software developer steriotypes... I love the great outdoors and one of my davorite places to be is outside. From hikes, to walks on the beach, to picnics at the park nature has always been my happy place.

From making bracelets, to crocheting stuffed animals, to painting and drawing, I love to explore my creativity in a wide variety of ways through arts and crafts.
As an expert foodie I enjoy trying new restaurants, exploring the fanciest cafes, and in general just tast testing the art that is different cuisines and culinary specialties.
If my money isn't being spent on food... then it's probably being spent on flight tickets. I LOVE to travel and immerse ymself in new experiences, cultures, and places. Seeing new sites and appreciating the way others live will always be one of my favorite forms of entertainment.

My career journey started at 16 when I worked for a local Code Ninjas branch teaching video game development to students age 3 to 14.
I then transitioned to a position at the University of Chicago's IT Services working as a student tech in the networking division.
During my second year in university I worked as a Career Peer Advisor in the University of Chicago's Career advancement department where I aided students in resume development and career planning.
